However, please be aware that a direct correspondence between the difficulty of routes in Yosemite and routes at BCC should not be assumed. It would be best to avoid any comparison with Yosemite and to merely use these rating numbers as a means to compare climbs at BCC with each other. As with any new climbing area, it is suggested that climbers new to BCC start conservatively until they have established some experience of their own, especially if they are bouldering.)
