15^th Asian Championships pre-event for the 2009 World Games

The 2006 Asian Championships are held 26-29 October in the beautiful city of Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei, as one of the pre-events for the 2009 World Games.
The CTAA (Chinese Taipei Alpine Association) together with the KOC (Kaohsiung Organizing Committee) organized a fantastic competition as preparation for the 2009 World Games.
The Asian Championships included for the first time Bouldering - where during the Men and Women's Finals, the Japanese climbers demonstrated, in a thrilling and exciting battle with the Korean climbers, that they are at this moment the strongest in bouldering.
Sunday 29.10 is the Asian Speed Championship, Breaking news for this speed event is that it will be the first time that the speed competition is held in the new format, on the record wall with four similar routes instead of the traditional two routes.
The big question: who will be the first to set the Asian Speed record?
